Ben Bach, HR Crowd
HR Crowd have announced today, July 1st, the appointment of Ben Bach as its New South Wales (NSW) Practice Director, a move that reflects the consultancy’s continued focus on developing its integrated Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) operating model.
Bach brings 17 years of experience in human capital management (HCM) transformation, having worked across both public and private sectors in Australia and the UK. His background includes senior consulting and leadership positions at NTT Data Business Solutions and Deloitte, with expertise spanning SAP SuccessFactors, payroll, solution architecture, change management, and HR service delivery design.
The NSW Practice is one of four regional arms within HR Crowd’s operating structure, alongside Northern, Southern, and New Zealand, supported by three specialist capability practices: Advisory, Technology and Innovation, and Time. The appointment is positioned as part of an ongoing effort to deepen regional leadership and support scalable delivery across New South Wales.
“We’ve seen strong and sustained momentum in NSW and Ben’s appointment reflects our commitment to scaling in line with that growth and deepening our leadership presence in a market that’s been a core part of our business,” said Judith Carelsen, Co-CEO, HR Crowd. “It’s a strategic investment in regional leadership, capability building, and bringing high quality business-aligned HCM transformation expertise closer to our clients. Ben brings energy, depth and a fantastic balance of strategic and delivery capability to our leadership team at exactly the right time in our journey.”
Bach’s new role will involve overseeing client engagements throughout the state and contributing to national practice development. Based in Sydney, he is expected to work closely with both local and ANZ-wide teams.
“I’m excited to be joining HR Crowd at such a pivotal moment,” said Ben Bach, newly appointed Practice Director – NSW. “What drew me to the business is its combination of specialist HR and payroll expertise, collaborative culture and clear ambition to do things differently. I look forward to working closely with our NSW clients and my HR Crowd colleagues across ANZ to deliver transformation that’s truly business-aligned and people-centred.”
The appointment also aligns with HR Crowd’s broader approach to embedding leadership within regions while maintaining national integration.
“HR Crowd was founded to bring a new kind of consulting partnership to market, one that’s advisory-led, hands-on, and relentlessly outcomes driven,” said Adrian Everett, Co-CEO of HR Crowd. “The NSW Practice is not just a geographic hub, it’s a cornerstone of our integrated ANZ model. It plays a critical role in how we support our clients and scale our impact across sectors and states. Ben’s appointment reflects our long-term strategy to deepen leadership, accelerate client value, and build regional capability in the markets where we’re most active.”
HR Crowd’s client base spans government, health, infrastructure and enterprise sectors across Australia and New Zealand. The establishment of locally embedded leadership in NSW is intended to support deeper regional engagement in line with national priorities.
