SAP ANZ Announces Winners of the SAP Best Run Awards 2023

Fujitsu, Queensland Transport and Main Roads, and Fortescue Metals Group among those recognised for innovative work.



Sydney — AUGUST 21, 2023 — SAP SE today announced the winners of its fifth annual SAP Best Run Awards for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), which recognises and celebrates the achievements of the top companies and partners in ANZ that are using SAP to turn insight into action, drive innovation and transform their businesses.

The awards are open to customers and partners leveraging SAP products or technology, with participants encouraged to emphasise new ways of thinking, disruptive uses cases, and the deployment of technologies that sets the benchmark for their industry and makes the world run better.

The awards recognise up to ten winners across categories including intelligent ERP enterprise, customer experience, human experience management, data and analytics, digital supply chain, intelligent spend and business network among others.

Additionally, the SAP Chris O’Brien Award recognises organisations that have successfully implemented SAP solutions to achieve sustainability goals, improve social impact, and create shared value for stakeholders. Fujitsu was recognised as this year’s winner for its implementation of SAP Ariba, enabling the business to successfully channel spend towards its First Nations suppliers, which has increased from $200,000 to over $4 million over the past few years.

The winners were announced in-person at 12 Micron in Barangaroo and was hosted by Managing Director of SAP Australia and New Zealand, Damien Bueno and the company’s Chief Operating Officer Pete Andrew.
