Sydney SAP Specialist Emphasys Wins Golden Alliance With Informatica

SAP services specialist Emphasys has been awarded a Gold Partnership by global enterprise data management firm Informatica.

The Sydney-based firm specialises in SAP architecture, integration, data and S/4HANA advisory services, while Californian software services provider Informatica is recognised as a leader in enterprise cloud data management along with several critical data management categories.

Emphasys’s latest accolade sits alongside its Gold Level Partnership with SAP and an ISO:9001:2015 certification from PwC, to further strengthen its position of authority in data solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

Emphasys managing director Glynn Williams said the new partnership would leverage Informatica’s best-in-class technologies. “Receiving the Gold Partnership from Informatica is not only an honour, but a reflection of our dedication to excellence in data management,” he said.

“This partnership enables us to further enhance our offerings and provide our clients with cutting-edge solutions that are essential for navigating today’s complex data landscapes.”

Informatica APAC senior director of channel and alliances, Jacob Van der Eyk, pointed to Emphasys’s proven track record in SAP and data management which he said would complement Informatica’s own technologies.

“We’re excited about the innovative solutions this partnership will bring to many of our joint customers as they modernise to S/4HANA in Australia,” he said.

The news comes just two months after Emphasys announced a partnership with another US firm, smartShift, which utilises AI to deliver SAP custom code migration and optimisation.

Emphasys said the strategic collaboration with Boston-based smartShift aimed to provide clients with “efficient, future-ready platforms” by enhancing Emphasys’ own suite of services with smartShift’s AI-powered solutions that can deliver secure, stable and optimised code “in a matter of weeks”.

According to smartShift, it has modernised more than 3300 SAP systems around the world and converted more than 3 billion lines of code.

Emphasys Cloud Practice Director Craig Boyle said his firm was excited to introduce smartShift to its Australian clients. “Together, we aim to revolutionise system complexity, providing clients with agile, future-ready platforms that drive innovation and growth,” he said.
